After that, home for a nap,was the destination.

Afternap entailed a trip to world market and target. It was crazy out there, unlike the zoo, which was quiet but so worth it!

Daddy & Huddy tired after all the fun in that white stuff called snow… Off to the inside for cocoa, grub & dreams of more snow!

Well, one of this weeks many missions was to find some water for fun! We called numerous pools in the area with drop in times, to find out it can be expensive… From $20-$37 and also we learned we will no longer be members at our very own gym, as they don’t allow anyone under the age of 17 in the pool, no exceptions!

Friday rolled around and we were willing but not happy about paying upwards of $20 or a pool session… Then, we were notified about the Lynnwood Rec. Center (about 10 minutes from our house)! The price was enough to entice us… $4.50 per adult and no charge for kids under 2! That means a whopping $4.50 for fun, as Cory is still nursing his knee! Game on!

Emptied out area, lots of people left as the snow began to pick up… Place also includes 2 tubes, a lazy river and a separate Olympic size pool. Too awesome!

First, we ate some yummy steak stir-fry made by mommy, which we all thoroughly enjoyed! Hudson even was eating more than just the steak and noodles… Quite a treat for us to see out of our lil carnivore. After dinner, we had some play time, which is the norm before the calming/quieting down for bed… Which was finished off with a diaper change, vitamins, and the putting on of jammies. This is normally followed up with teeth brushing.

Well, tonight something different happened. He started saying what we thought was “boppy”… Which we put off as him wanting a toy that has a name close to that sound. Boy were we wrong! He then proceeded to take us to the bathroom door and we finally figured it out… “boppy” was actually starting to sound more like what he was really meaning, “potty”. So, mommy opened the door and he went right to his toilet where he had to have his whole jammie set taken off before he pooped on his toilet. (granted he wore his diaper)

This was pretty monumental, as we have never pushed him to do this and this was a learned behavior by him completely on his own. We couldn’t have been prouder!
